Welcome

Our main aim is to assist businesses in Central Lancashire to develop their skills and grow sustainable businesses as a result. We also believe in the power of Networking, and this is why we aim to “Connect Local Businesses” through these events.

This year's 12th Annual Central Lancashire Business Event was hosted by South Ribble Borough Council.

'Never Say Never!'
Building Business Resilience and Adapting to Change.

In an ever-changing economic climate, the need for determination, resilience and hard work within a business has never been more necessary. A willingness to adapt, reskill and retrain is also key to both business and career development.

Who better then to share their personal story than former British Ski Jumper and Winter Olympian, Michael ‘Eddie’ Edwards. He is the embodiment of resilience. Over 180 attendees joined us to hear his amazing personal journey of how determination and resilience have shaped his career from Olympian to Law Graduate and continue to do so today.

His ‘Never say Never’ attitude and compelling story gave local business owners the inspiration they need to dig deep and continue to strive for their own success.

Our event MC for the evening was Mike Ode, Owner and Director of Potential Unearthed, who design and deliver memorable and engaging Management and Personal Development training programmes.
