The 13th Annual Central Lancashire Business Event was hosted by Chorley Council on Wednesday 2nd October 2019

The event was hosted by Mike Ode, Founder, Potential Unearthed who also joined Phil Lynas, Founder, All About Food and Julie Thornhill, General Manager - Regional Distribution Centre, Waitrose & Partners in a healthy panel discussion. As industry insiders, each of panelists shared their own unique focus on employee wellbeing, work environments and their impact on productivity.

We were also absolutely delighted to announce that our keynote speaker for the evening was soldier, survivor and inspiration:

Simon Weston CBE.

Simon shared his inspiring story and delivered his message of achievement, of triumph over adversity, of seizing the moment and succeeding. Simon's life is one of single-minded determination, to not only accept what is, but to turn that to your advantage.

a truly inspirational speaker that left everyone with a heartwarming, simple message of 'it costs nothing to be kind.'
